Friday Fun!

Friday was a busy day, but it was so fun! At school we celebrated Grandparents/Special Friend's Day at school. We had the whole afternoon for the kids to hang out with their grandparents. We did activities with them and they got to take them to our school book fair and most of them got to leave school 45 minutes early....so needless to say, my students had a great Friday and I had a great Friday because it was relaxing! I do feel bad for our asst. principal and K.P because they had to deal with grumpy older people and help them with parking. We have a small parking lot and usually when we have a big event at school, they are allowed to park on the soccer field, but since it has been so rainy, it was not a smart choice. They were outside all afternoon and I felt so bad! Hopefully next year, it won't be so bad! Friday night we had some good friends over to hang out and play games. Laura and Geoffrey, who live in town now, but it seems we never get to see them....our schedules are so busy! They have a little 1 year old daughter, Madalyn, and a new baby on the way, baby Emma! Anyway, here are some pictures from Friday! We had so much fun playing one of the new games we got for Christmas, Hubbub.
